The second episode of Dispatch, titled “Onboard,” follows the superhero Robert as he adjusts to his new role as a Dispatcher with the SDN. The episode is relatively short and largely centers around the process of sending heroes out on missions.
Some decisions in this part of the game might be unclear, leaving players unsure if they’ll damage relationships or change the story. This guide lists all the conversation choices and recommends the best options to pick in Dispatch.
Dispatch Episode 2 Walkthrough
When the scene begins, Robert will be chatting with the Waterboy in the lounge. This is where you’ll encounter the first conversation, and you’ll be able to choose how to respond.
- Not a great actor.
- Seems like a jerk.
- He’s phenomenal.

Next, Blond Blazer will escort you to the conference room for two additional conversations.
- Option #1: (Can go for any choice)
- I don’t mind
- Is this an HR violation?
- No peeking
- Option #2:
- Didn’t feel like a mistake. (causes no change in your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
- I’ll take your lead. (increases your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
- We were drunk. (decreases your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
As you transform, Invisigal will show up and attempt to escape. Since the conference room is locked, you and Blond Blazer will be able to talk to her, leading to a new conversation.
- Powers don’t make you a hero.
- I’m here to help.
- Let’s make the best of it.
Feel free to start any conversation. After Invisigal departs, Blond Blazer will give you a tour of the office and initiate a new conversation. You can then select any response you like.
- How many heroes work here?
- What heroes do you hire?
- Three D’s?

Head to the bathroom, and you’ll find Royd there. You’ll then be able to choose from a few different things to say.
- Option #1:
- BRO FIST. (increases your relationship with Royd)
- DO NOT BRO FIST. (decreases your relationship with Royd)
- Option #2: (Can go for any choice)
- No, I’m just kidding.
- I don’t know.
- Doubt it’s a coincidence.

Following the bathroom scene, Robert will head to the Records Room and encounter another character. This will unlock two new dialogue choices for you.
- Option #1: (Can go for any choice)
- Do I know you?
- Why is this happening?
- Can you not do this?
- Option #2: (Can go for any choice)
- That’s cruel.
- So, how old are you?
- I’m so sorry.

Now that we’ve met everyone, Chase will give you an overview of all the heroes in the Phoenix Program. Feel free to look at their stats – you’ll need this information when you start assigning them to calls. Once you’re finished with the slideshow, Chase will lead you to your desk where you can begin the dispatching process. It’s similar to the tutorial from the first episode, but you’ll have more details to manage this time.
| Dispatch Call | Requirements |
|---|---|
| Lost Balloon |
|
| VAND-Go Opening | Charisma |
| Cray Cray Bidet | Hacking Sequence |
| Fight at Crypto Night | Charisma |
| Retrieve Stolen Boat |
|
| Museum Robbery | Hack/Mobility/Vigor |
| Blaze in the Burbs | Intelligence/Vigor/Flambae |
| In the Zone |
|
| Apprehend Art Thieves |
|
|
|
| Juvenile Pickpocket at Large |
|
| Locate Stolen Art | Invisigal/Coupe/Vigor/Mobility |
| Granny’s Donuts | Invisigal |
Continue making calls until you reach the call from Granny’s Donuts. Invisigal will handle that one herself. Once you’re connected to the shop, Invisigal will ask you what kind of donut you prefer. Here are your choices:
- Jelly-filled.
- The long cream ones.
- Plain glazed.
You’re free to choose any option you like, but there’s a special reward – a trophy or achievement – for selecting the donut that the fewest other players choose. Since it depends on everyone else’s choices, you might have to try this part again if you don’t get the trophy on your first attempt.
Inside the shop, you’ll encounter a criminal known as Perp who needs to be handled by Invisigal. Your first decision will be:
- Duck!
- Go invisible!
You can choose either option, and then you’ll face a timed hacking challenge. You need to quickly find the correct key combinations on the right side of the screen to unlock the square and finish the sequence.
Shortly after the battle begins, Granny will pick up a weapon and target Invisigal. This will give you another choice to make.
- DISARM GRANNY.
- TAKE OUT THE THIEF.
No matter which path you choose, Invisigal will take the other one, resulting in Granny getting hurt and the criminal escaping. You’ll then head to the Break Room, where you’ll find Robert attempting to get a snack from the vending machine, and Sonar is already present.
When Invisigal shows up, you will have a conversation with her, which has multiple dialogue options:
- Option # 1: (Can go for any choice)
- I can’t just disappear.
- You need better friends.
- You chose that life.
- Option # 2: (Can go for any choice)
- You ignored my order.
- I told Chase you disobeyed.
- You think that went well?
- Option # 3: (All choices lead to the same outcome, but will be remembered)
- The suit isn’t Mecha Man.
- You need me.
- I’m the real hero here.

Okay, so after talking to whoever I just talked to, I need to check in with Chase and Blond Blazer. We’re gonna chat about how my shift went, and I’ll get to pick what I say – there are a few different options for the conversation.
- Option #1: (Choosing the second option leads to you telling on Invisigal, and the others don’t. This will be remembered)
- The air’s dry.
- Invisigal punched me.
- I bumped my head.
- Option # 2: (Can go for any choice)
- She disobeyed an order.
- I could’ve done better.
- The perp got away.

After you exit the office with Blond Blazer, a new conversation will begin with these choices:
- Option # 1:
- Thanks for setting this up.
- I’m glad I’m here too.
- Do you want to grab dinner? (Bronze Blazer will remember this)
- Option # 2:
- Sorry, I already ate. (increases your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
- Yeah, sounds fun. (decreases your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
- Gotta get home to my dog. (increases your relationship with Blonde Blazer)
That concludes episode two. You’ll now see how your choices stacked up against other players. Below is a list of the episodes still to come in Dispatch:

| Episode 3 | 2 |
