The Lovers Quest (Medea & Adso Locations) In Enotria: The Last Song

As a seasoned adventurer who’s spent countless hours immersed in the mystical world of Enotria: The Last Song, I can confidently say that the Lovers quest is one of the most poignant and intriguing stories woven into the game’s rich tapestry.

In the game Enotria: The Last Song, there are two ways to initiate the Lover’s quest. You can either discover Medea’s letter beforehand or have a conversation with Adso (Mantellone) in the second chapter. Rest assured, advancing in the second chapter won’t eliminate any characters from the first chapter, Quinta.

In “Enotria: The Last Song,” The One Without a Mask must convey the unfortunate message to Adso, witnessing his NPC character mourn the loss of his beloved partner. However, the mission can be deemed accomplished upon conversing with Mantellone and acquiring the weapon. Yet, it’s still possible to chat with Maja to mark the ‘Lover’s Tale’ as fully completed.

How To Trigger The Lovers Quest In Enotria: The Last Song

In the game Enotria: The Last Song, players can initiate the Lover’s quest by retrieving Medea’s letter from her body in the Monastery of Maja. Following your defeat of Curtis, the Prince of Laughter, a door will open within his boss’s battle arena to the left. This door leads to a darker part of the city.

In the Monastery of Maja Reality Knot, navigate through the stairs to encounter an adversary. Upon entering a spacious arena, veer right towards a closed gate and then take a left turn to discover a massive tree branch. Ascend the branch, proceeding till you reach its end where you’ll find a crab foe near a deceased body with a valuable item. The objective is locating the letter from Medea to Adso (Mantellone), which initiates the quest of the Lovers.

Where To Find Adso In Enotria: The Last Song

In the second chapter, known as Falesia Magna, Mantellone is positioned close to the Necropolis Reality Knot. After the Maskless One has opened the Turf of the Coastal Horror Knot, move to the right to reach the Necropolis region. Subsequently, ascend the stairs and continue moving to the right until you can safely jump down the hill from there.

As a gamer, I’d put it like this: Advance and scale that wooden platform over skeletal foes until I spot a shattered pillar ahead. I’ll hoist myself up there to a hill teeming with adversaries. I need to circle around the area and locate another broken pillar to climb, where I’ll find Adso waiting at the top. If this is our first encounter in Enotria: The Last Song, interacting with him will initiate the Lovers quest. To wrap it up, I’ll have to search for Medea’s corpse and then return to him to finish off this quest.

Should You Agree Or Disagree With Adso In Enotria: The Last Song

Speak with Mantellone to learn he’s anxiously awaiting his beloved, and requests your help in finding her. Upon presenting Medea’s letter and revealing the truth, Adso poses a question to you, the players. This won’t impact the game’s progression, but it does influence Adso’s perception of the Maskless One. Regardless, you’ll still acquire the legendary Emerald Maiden weapon, which inflicts Malanno or Sickness, as the choices only affect Adso’s emotions towards the Maskless One.
