A new, fan-made life path is now available for Cyberpunk 2077, offering players a fresh start and prologue. This comes after a remarkable turnaround for the game, which has become a prime example of a successful redemption story in the gaming world. The Fresh Start mod lets you combine the Nomad and Corpo lifepaths in Cyberpunk 2077, creating a backstory where your character used to work for a corporation and then lived with a nomad clan, but has since left both those lives behind to rediscover themselves in Night City. The mod’s creator, DeceptiousPhil, recently added the Nomad/Corpo option to the game’s character selection screen, and it blends in perfectly. It also includes a new opening sequence that matches this unique background.

The game now begins at the Orbital Air Station, where you’ll meet Jackie, Misty, and Vik. While the new opening is a recent addition, the Fresh Start mod has been incredibly popular since its release last year, already downloaded over 250,000 times.
