Tomorrow, on September 19, 2024, the highly anticipated God of War Ragnarok will be available for PC gamers! In anticipation of the launch, the creators have unveiled some fresh gameplay and accessibility enhancements specifically tailored for the PC version.

God of War Ragnarok PC Features

As per the blog update, the PC edition of God of War Ragnarok will launch with two fresh features: Reduced Puzzle Hints and Cinematic Audio Description. These features are expected to arrive on console versions shortly as well. The Reduced Puzzle Hints feature is a new tool that lessens the frequency at which you hear puzzle solutions from your companions. You can locate this option in the Gameplay Settings section.

In simpler terms, the Cinematic Audio Description function provides additional narration of visual occurrences during game cutscenes. This extra commentary offers background details alongside dialogue, enhancing the gaming experience for visually impaired players. To activate this feature, navigate to the Audio Accessibility Menu and toggle on the Audio Description setting.

Streamer Alerts and Fan Kit

To honor the PC launch of God of War Ragnarok, Santa Monica Studio is offering unique Streamer Alerts to content creators streaming the game. These fresh alerts feature animations of characters such as Kratos, Thor, Atreus, and Fenrir for notifications like gaining a new follower, subscriber, donation, or gifted subscription.

Additionally, Santa Monica Studio has made available a Fan Package on their official site. This package includes social media graphics and desktop backgrounds, some of which are specifically designed for wide-screen monitors that the studio supports.
