I’m really excited for 2026 when they both celebrate their 30th anniversaries, and I’m guessing both Atlus and The Pokemon Company have big plans. But honestly, I’m feeling a lot more confident about what Pokemon will reveal. They’re on the verge of launching their 10th generation of games, which is awesome. A brand new mainline Persona game, though? That still feels pretty far off, even with the anniversary coming up.

Over the years, a few open-world games have really stood out with their fantastic shooting mechanics, making combat much more exciting and fun.
