On Twitter, Cristiano Ronaldo shared a brief video featuring soccer stadia and quick glimpses of the Fatal Fury logo, accompanied by the caption: “A hint of what’s to come.

Upcoming Fighting Game “City of Wolves: Fatal Fury” is being developed by SNK, a seasoned Japanese gaming company with nearly half a century of experience. Expected to launch in 2025, the game’s sneak peek suggests that Ronaldo might be among the playable characters, though this is speculative at present.

This wouldn’t be Ronaldo’s first brush with the gaming world. He’s a prolific backer of UFL, a free-to-play soccer game being released by Strikerz. It has been penned as a competitor to the likes of EA Sports FC and eFootball, and it has had the backing of Ronaldo for several months.
Beyond this, it’s clear that Ronaldo showed a strong interest in the Esports World Cup, given his ties with Al Nassr, a Saudi football club he is associated with. He graced several high-profile events under the Esports World Cup umbrella, openly expressing his enthusiasm for the gaming community.
