Borderlands 4 Seasons Lootings Event Has Ended, Including the Higher Drop Rates

A recent issue with Borderlands 4 started after a small update on January 8th, which was mostly just the game’s regular weekly reset. Around the holidays, Gearbox launched a “Season’s Lootings” event to celebrate the release of Borderlands 4‘s How Rush Saved Mercenary Day, greatly increasing the chances of finding legendary items. It wasn’t clear how long this increased drop rate would last, so a player checked to see if it was still active after the holiday break.

The recent seasonal event has finished, and item drop rates are now back to normal. Gearbox Software has acknowledged the positive fan response to the increased rates during the event and is looking into ways to potentially make the higher rates permanent.
