The Guest Area in Little Nightmares is a shorter section than earlier parts of the game. The Guests have arrived at The Maw and are hungry for anything they can find, including Six. Players must guide Six through the grasping hands of the Guests and make their way to the Lady’s Quarters to finish chapter 4.
The Guest Area Walkthrough In Little Nightmares
Okay, so at the start of the chapter, before you go anywhere, turn left and crawl through that little hole. That’s where you’ll find the first lantern and get a hug from a Nome – it’s super cute!
You can earn the “Light Up Your Life Trophy” by lighting just 20 of the lanterns or candles in the game – you may have already unlocked it!
Go out and proceed forwards up the ladder and then up the chains while watching the Guests.
Walk carefully on the beams and climb the wall to see the Lady in the distance watching the Guests.
Jump on the square lights to land on the platform.
Go through the rooms, and one of the Guests will start following Six.
When you see a stack of plates, climb to the top and jump to the light above the Guest. Then, swing back and forth to get to the small window.
You’ll find a large table full of people dining. Go to the far end of the room and watch for a small creature – a Nome – that will dart away. Move the stool and crawl through the opening it leaves behind.
Light another Lantern and hug the second Nome.
Climb the empty stool near the table and light a candle in the corner between the two Guests.
To avoid being spotted by other enemies, keep moving and dodging the grabbing hands until Six reaches the wall on the left and holds on.
Climb up, then jump back onto the serving tray. From there, go up to the next floor and climb the bench to reach a new guest area.
Run fast to the left – they’ll follow Six. Jump to the lamp handle, then quickly drop down to the other side.
Okay, so as I was playing, another one of those Guests showed up, also after Six! I figured out if I ran back the way I came – back towards where I first dropped down – he’d get totally stuck and I could get past him. It’s a neat little trick!
Jump over his body and slide through the small window.
Dash to the left down the hallway and quickly hide either inside the box or under the bathroom sink. A Chef is coming out of the elevator and will spot Six if you don’t!
After the Chef leaves, he’ll shut the door, and a few things will tumble down. Grab one of those fallen objects and toss it at the mirror to shatter it.
Climb the bars and walk along the pipes to land on the table. Pick the first statue and throw it.
Head downstairs and take the elevator. Once you exit, turn left and carefully go through the doorway. You’ll find a Nome close to someone who is sleeping.
Head outside and go towards the camera to light a lantern.
Entering the correct doorway leads to a hallway where a pursuit begins, with many people chasing Six. You’ll need to run through hallways and leap over obstacles like overturned furniture, ultimately landing on a table.
Go to the end and jump to hang from a lamp and reach the other side.
Before proceeding, walk to the corner and turn on the lantern.
When Six enters, she’s overcome with hunger again. She heads towards the creature with the sausage, but instead of taking the food, she devours the creature itself.
You’ll earn the Little Lost Things Trophy if you can hug every Nome and then eat the final one.
Okay, so I went ahead and climbed those bars, and I saw the Lady getting into the elevator. Then I turned left and smashed a statue – it was pretty satisfying!
Okay, so I figured out how to get past this part! You just need to grab something – anything, really – and toss it at the elevator button. It actually works! And when you do, you unlock the “Guest Area Achievement,” which is pretty cool.
You’ll earn the Elusive Trophy if you’re chased by the Guests and nearly caught six times during this chapter. If you didn’t unlock it in chapters 2 or 3, this is another chance to do so.
