Elder Scrolls Online Has Made $15 Million a Month For 10 Years, It’s Claimed

As a seasoned gamer with decades of virtual adventures under my belt, I can confidently say that The Elder Scrolls Online has been an unparalleled journey through the breathtaking realms of Tamriel. With its staggering monthly earnings and accumulated revenue since 2014, it’s safe to say that this MMORPG has been minting septims by the millions!

It’s been proposed that The Elder Scrolls Online, introduced in 2014, generates approximately $15 million per month in revenue since its debut. This assertion aligns with a report stating that the game, managed by ZeniMax Online Studios under the name ESO, has accumulated an impressive $2 billion in earnings since 2014.

The Elder Scrolls Online ranks among the most beloved Massively Multiplayer Role-Playing Games (MMORPGs) in existence. This game offers adventurers a chance to delve into the various domains that constitute Tamriel, the imaginary landscape of The Elder Scrolls universe.

How Many Septims Is That?

The ‘$15 million a month’ reference was dug up by Timur222 on Twitter, who found the number on the profile of Gary Boodhoo, a former UX lead at ZeniMax Online Studios.

As a passionate fan, I’ve pointed out that I view this as a ‘claim’ due to the information on Boodhoo’s profile indicating he left ZeniMax Online Studios in 2016 – a move that occurred only two years after The Elder Scrolls Online was launched. In his own words, he states on his profile:

‘I’ve been responsible for designing user interactions and organizing digital content for over a decade. During this time, I’ve collaborated with both Content and Business teams, contributing significantly to generating approximately $15 million in monthly income from our digital assets.’

It’s plausible that, given his past connection with The Elder Scrolls and current work as a consultant, he might have some insight into how much the game has earned since its release a decade ago due to his ongoing involvement with the series.

As a dedicated gamer, I can’t help but marvel at The Elder Scrolls Online. Over ten years ago, ZeniMax unveiled this masterpiece, and ever since, it has captivated millions of us around the globe. The game’s allure is undeniable, and I’m one of the many who can’t resist its charm. Today, it continues to expand with fresh content, hinting that we’ll be exploring its vast universe for years to come.
