In the gaming environment of Once Human, a variety of cosmetics are offered. Although most require purchase from the premium shop, several can be earned by simply playing the game. Players can acquire certain skins gratis through Cosmetic Tokens, but due to the abundance of menus, using them may seem somewhat perplexing.
In this game, Cosmetic Credits serve as a form of virtual currency, allowing you to purchase different skins from the in-game store. If, for example, you feel that the Falcon armor doesn’t quite match your aesthetic preferences within the game “Once Human”, don’t worry! You can always swap out certain parts with cosmetic alternatives that align better with your style. Here is where you can acquire and use your Cosmetic Credits to cater to all your customization needs.
How To Get Cosmetic Tokens
In the game, you’ll receive Cosmetic Tokens whenever you find a duplicated skin that you’ve already got in your inventory. Typically, skins are purchased with real money from the shop, but these tokens can also be obtained for free through gameplay.
To obtain free tokens, navigate to the Seasonal Goals menu first by pressing Escape/Start. Once there, explore the Seasonal Shop. In this area, you can purchase Butterfly’s Emissary loot crates using Mitsuko’s Marks. By accomplishing Seasonal Goals, you will also amass a considerable amount of Mitsuko’s Marks and significant quantities of Starchrom in Once Human.
The probability of finding everyday cosmetics from the loot boxes is fairly high, but the likelihood of obtaining purple-level items decreases significantly compared to blue ones. However, you can still amass a reasonable number of Cosmetic Tokens by opening these loot boxes, though you might eventually use up all your Mitsuko’s Marks for the season. At this point, there isn’t much left to do except wait for the next server reset.
To reach the Seasonal Shop, simply call forth V. Keep in mind that the Butterfly’s Emissary loot box could be swapped out for something different in upcoming seasons.
Where To Spend Cosmetic Tokens
Users can find and utilize their Cosmetic Tokens within the “Additional Items” section of the in-game shop. To do so, simply open the store, move to the designated area, and click on the “Redeem Cosmetic Token” tab, where you’ll be able to view the various skins that can be purchased using your tokens.
All items you purchase here can be found under the Cosmetics tab within the Character menu, where you also manage your emotes in Once Human. How To Use Colorful Badges And Dye Cosmetics
In simpler terms, Badges with vibrant hues function as a form of in-game currency for altering the color of specific decorative items. Not every skin can be dyed; instead, you can adjust the colors only for cosmetic items that display a small color wheel icon when chosen from the Cosmetics menu.
Choose a suitable cosmetic product, and notice that there’s a Dye-colored version available beneath its standard counterpart. Opt for the dyed one, then use your Colorful Rewards to unlock it.
