Monster Hunter Now: Paralysis/Sleep Element Quest and Rewards

Monster Hunter Now: Paralysis/Sleep Element Quest and Rewards

As a seasoned hunter with countless hours spent traversing the vast landscapes of Monster Hunter World, I must say that these quests seem both familiar and challenging. The rewards for taking down large monsters or participating in group hunts are quite substantial – from Zenny to valuable materials like Sharp Claw and Wingdrake Hide.

For the first time, numerous hunters can pursue and capture Nightmare Paolumu, a Sleep-element version of the giant puffball, during temporary quests in the Monster Hunter Now: Paralysis/Sleep Element event. Previously, this variant was only accessible through a paid event over the summer; however, it’s now visible to all hunters who have completed the game’s main story.

The Paralysis/Sleep Element event quests are worth finishing as you get high-tier rewards based on two of the available status ailments. Even if you’ve heavily invested in upgrading weapons of more conventional elements in the past, this is your opportunity to get some of the best gear for toppling the biggest monsters, including the Elder Dragons. Here are all the Monster Hunter Now Paralysis/Sleep Element event details, including its duration and quest rewards.

Monster Hunter Now Paralysis/Sleep Element Event Start and End Time

Monster Hunter Now: Paralysis/Sleep Element Quest and Rewards

The Monster Hunter Now: Paralysis/Sleep Event commenced on September 23 at 9 AM UTC (2 AM Pacific, 5 AM Eastern) and will continue until September 29 at 11 PM UTC (4 PM Pacific, 7 PM Eastern). During this period, the elusive monster Nightmare Paolumu will be visible to all hunters for the first time. Additionally, your chances of encountering Radobaan and Great Girros will be significantly increased.

As a gamer, I know these beasts drop some seriously sweet loot during this event, and completing certain quests is crucial. The tracking feature lets me take down Great Girros and Radobaan, but finding Nightmare Paolumu in the wild or Hunt-A-Thons is key to wrapping everything up on time and snagging that rare Wyvern Gem. Here’s my list of quests and the rewards I’ll earn by finishing them:
