He accumulated power by slaying one of the Celestials who birthed the universe, and he was also responsible for creating the Necrosword, commonly known as All-Black the Necrosword in comics. The sword was wielded by Gorr, both in the comics and the Marvel Cinematic Universe film “Thor: Love and Thunder”, causing Gorr to become more corrupted with each use until it was ultimately destroyed. Knull used this sword during his invasion of Earth, but Eddie Brock eventually took over as the new King in Black and defeated both the sword and Knull.
