How to Repair Weapons, Tools, Armor & All Items In Hytale—How To Make Repair Kits, Explained

Hytale lets you fix your favorite weapons, tools, and armor to keep them in good condition, but the game doesn’t clearly explain how it works. Luckily, IG is here to help you understand the repair system.

Limp Bizkit’s song “Break Stuff” unexpectedly became relevant to the game Hytale. In Hytale, frequently using items will cause your equipment to break down. If you don’t learn how to repair things, it can be incredibly frustrating!

How To Repair Equipment In Hytale

You can only fix damaged armor, weapons, and tools by making and using a Repair Kit.

Currently, the only known method for fixing broken items is by crafting Repair Kits. Like other craftable consumables in Hytale, these kits require some resources to create. Once you have one, though, you can use it to repair anything that’s damaged.

You also have the option to make a completely new tool, weapon, or piece of armor. However, depending on the item’s rarity and strength, it could save you time and resources to simply repair the existing one instead.

How To Craft A Repair Kit In Hytale

First, build a Workbench. Then, collect the materials needed to assemble a Repair Kit, which you’ll use to fix damaged equipment.

Check out the steps necessary to do all of this:

  1. Load into a Hytale World.
  2. Gather 4x Any Tree Trunk and 4x Any Stone.
  3. Craft a Workbench.
  4. Place it down in a safe and familiar position.
  5. Open the Workbench.
  6. Click on Tools.
  7. Select Repair Kit.
  8. Gather 2x Linen Scraps, 1x Iron Ingot, and 1x Light Leather.
  9. Now, craft the Repair Kit.
  10. Drag the Repair Kit over the item you want item you want to be repaired, and hey presto, you’re golden.

Repair kits sometimes contain hard-to-find parts, so it’s important to keep them safe and not discard them carelessly.
