Tarkov’s Latest Update Adds Map Transitions To Every Raid, Even PvE Runs

As a seasoned Escape from Tarkov player with years of raids under my belt, I can confidently say that this latest update, 0.15.2.0, has truly breathed new life into the game. The ability to transition between raids at will is an absolute game-changer! No more leaving a raid just to start another one; now, I can keep my loot-hunting spree going as long as my heart desires.

In the ongoing conversation, I’d like to share that the recent update, version 0.15.2.0 for Escape from Tarkov, is currently being implemented within the game, and it’s quite a spectacle! Battlestate Games has been busy in the kitchen, preparing this update, which introduces transitions to each raid, encompassing both PvE mode and Player Scav runs. With numerous new transitions now available, players have the freedom to extend their stay in a raid for as long as they wish, moving between maps freely at their leisure.

Never Escape

As a gamer, I used to find that the transition feature was limited and only those on a Marathon quest could fully exploit it. But now, in version 0.15.2.0, every player gets to explore transitions in every raid – yes, even Player Scavs like me! This freedom lets me move between maps whenever I want, employing strategic extract points to hop across the borders that were once impenetrable for so long.

In the 0.15.2.0 update, Battlestate Games have altered the gameplay so that transitions could occur only a minute into a raid. This enables players to dash swiftly across maps at their maximum speed immediately, straight from the get-go.

Many new transit points have also been added:

  • Streets of Tarkov > Ground Zero
  • Interchange > Streets of Tarkov
  • Customs > Reserve
  • Customs > Interchange
  • Factory > Customs
  • Factory > The Lab
  • Woods > Factory
  • Woods > Lighthouse
  • Reserve > Customs
  • Reserve > Woods
  • Lighthouse > Reserve
  • Lighthouse > Woods
  • Shoreline > Lighthouse

To get the most experience points (XP), try finishing numerous events across various maps while taking short rests in between, and don’t forget to check off tasks such as ‘Marathon’. This is a great opportunity for you to do exactly that!

According to the game’s background story, all maps in Tarkov are interconnected somehow. Some exits clearly indicate where they lead, but prior to a few weeks ago, you needed to exit a raid to transition to another map and start fresh.

This latest update for Escape from Tarkov includes some exciting new features and fixes, such as the addition of the ‘Mortar Strike’ event across all game modes which will certainly keep players engaged, along with numerous adjustments to game balancing and improvements in overall quality.

Indeed, it implies that Battlestate Games has made some changes to address the audio problems that surfaced following the server reset.
