New Trailer For Last of Us Season 2 Released by HBO

As a die-hard fan of The Last of Us series, I must say that HBO’s trailer for season two has sent shivers down my spine! It’s been an agonizing wait since the first season, but this tantalizing glimpse into what’s to come has me more excited than ever.

To mark ‘The Last of Us Day’, HBO unveiled a brand new trailer for the upcoming second season of the critically acclaimed live-action series based on the same title. It’s been about two years since the premiere of the first season, but we won’t be seeing the second one until later this year. However, these in-depth previews are certainly keeping our anticipation high!

It’s Coming

The second season’s trailer for The Last of Us has been skillfully created, closely mirroring the 2020 game to such an extent that fans globally can easily identify its essence.

In one scene, we see that Naughty Dog and HBO have opted to include the heartwarming ‘music shop sequence’ from The Last of Us Part II, and in another, we see Abby and Joel link up in the snowy mountains outside Jackson.

Let’s not talk about what comes next.

As the video progresses, we get a clear glimpse into the lives of the Seraphites, witnessing their struggles in the subterranean metro system of Seattle. Dramatic instances of danger are captured, particularly surrounding an apparent large-scale assault on Jackson. It’s important to note that most of the material shown in the trailer is exclusive to the series, which has been the vision of the showrunners and writers from the beginning.

This time, things might not follow a set pattern as we’ve come to expect. Just like the first season, it surprised us by deviating from the script, and in the second season, there will be additional details about characters, backgrounds, and circumstances that viewers haven’t encountered before.
