However, if a nerve-wracking pursuit with the Nightcrawler Worm doesn’t appeal to you and instead you’re more interested in treasure hunting, this guide for Star Wars Outlaws is tailored just for you. Here are the precise locations of every chest and Smuggler Cache scattered throughout the area, ensuring a rewarding looting experience!

The rewards from the treasure chests are random and vary from player to player.

Treasure #1: Mine Storage

Location: Above the Landing Pad

Looking to your left from Mos Algo’s landing platform, you’ll see a wall with white and yellow markings that you can ascend. This climb leads to an abandoned mine storage area, where the initial treasure chest is concealed.

Once you’re in the area, press up on the D-pad to locate the chest using Nix’s senses.

Treasure #2: Abandoned Mine Cart

Location: Hidden Pathway Past the Landing Pad

A stone’s throw beyond the landing area, there’s a skinny trail heading towards a mine opening. (Glance to your left; you’ll spot it close to the initial houses in the mining village.) Walk along this pathway until you come across a mine cart hidden under rubble. Clear away the rocks obstructing the path, then rummage through the chest nestled within the rocky outcrop to uncover the second Mos Algo treasure.

Treasure #3: The Watchtower

Location: The Hill Ahead of the Landing Pad

Right outside Mos Algo’s landing area, there’s a place to attach a grappling hook. Utilize it to ascend the hill, then scale the tower walls. At the top of this vantage point, you’ll discover the third treasure chest. You can safely drop down from the chest using the nearby grappling hook.

This treasure chest is located just a few feet outside the abandoned city.

Treasure #4: The Secret Mine Supply Room

Location: Mos Algo’s Abandoned Mine

The final treasure in Mos Algo is hidden behind a puzzle. Here’s how to unlock it:

  • Find the Mine Supply Room Keycard: Look for a house with a generator in the mining settlement. One of the abandoned houses has a locked gate that can be opened with Blaster’s ion shots. Once inside, grab the Mine Supply Room Keycard.
  • Locate the secret path in the Abandoned Mine: After entering the mine by squeezing through the rocks, look for a gap in the wall to your left. This hidden route leads to the Supply Room. (You’ll need to blast some rocks blocking the way.)
  • Restore the power: Ask Nix to hold the shutter open while you shoot the generator to restore power.
  • Unlock the Supply Room: Once the power is back, use the keycard to open the gate and claim the final treasure in Mos Algo.

How to Find the Smuggler Cache 13 in Mos Algo

Not far from the landing site and beyond the mining community of Mos Algo, there lies a trail heading towards an obstructed mine shaft. It’s easily identifiable due to the persistent mist that gives it a gloomy, stormy look. Keep following this path until you stumble upon Smuggler Cache 13, concealed behind some wrecked mine carts.
