While traveling around the vast world of Hytale is simple with teleporters, earning the ability to use them requires effort.
Instead of traveling by foot over difficult terrain, Hytale’s Teleporters let you instantly reach your destination. This guide from TopMob covers everything you need to know about them.
How to Unlock Teleporters in Hytale

Okay, so teleporting isn’t something you can just do right away in Hytale. You’ve gotta work towards it a bit before you can zip around the world easily. It’s not instant access, there are a few things you need to do first!
In Hytale, you can only build teleporters using an Arcanist’s Workbench. To get this workbench, you first need to upgrade your regular Workbench to Level 2, and that takes a lot of collected materials.
A step-by-step breakdown of the unlock process is below:
- Build a Workbench
- Gather the required resources to upgrade the Workbench to Level 2.
– 30x Copper Ingot
– 20x Iron Ingot
– 20x Linen Scraps - With the required resources collected, upgrade your Workbench.
- Craft an Arcanist’s Workbench, which requires these resources.
– 10x Thorium Ingot
– 30x Linen Scraps
– 20x Essence of the Void - Place the Arcanist’s Workbench into a free space to be used.
How to Make Teleporters in Hytale
Teleporters in Hytale can only be constructed from an Arcanist’s Workbench in Hytale.
Okay, so the teleporters in Hytale are seriously cool because you can customize where they send you anywhere. I’m planning on linking them all back to my base, but you could also set up a whole network to quickly travel all over the map. The best part? Nothing’s permanent! I can change where a teleporter sends me whenever I want, which is perfect for my base – I can update the destination as I explore and find new places.
Here’s the materials you need to craft Teleporters:
- 8x Azure Log
- 2x Azure Kelp
- 10x Any Stone
Azure Forests are easy to find on the map because of their distinctive blue trees. These forests are full of both Azure Logs and Azure Kelp.
How to Get More Teleporters in Hytale
You can start with up to six teleporters, and with enough effort, you can eventually increase that to twelve.
You can extend how far you can teleport by capturing Memories. These appear when you’re near enemies, animals, or creatures, but you need to first visit the Forgotten Temple to unlock the feature. It’s a quick process and definitely worth doing early in the game.
As you record Memories in Hytale, you’ll regularly receive rewards, such as the ability to place additional Teleporters. While the maximum number of Teleporters is currently 12, the active modding community may change or remove this limit.
