The creator of Hypixel Studios announced that a new update is on the way, featuring dinosaurs, updated mining sound effects, and other improvements.
The creator of Hytale recently shared that they weren’t happy with how mining currently works in the game and asked players for ideas to make it more enjoyable. They also mentioned several other upcoming improvements. The first of these changes to the mining system are expected to be released tomorrow.
Hytale Founder Confirms New Patch While Revealing Hide Helm Option is Coming Next Week
I was so excited to see that the Hypixel Studios founder, Simon, actually responded to a player on X about the problem with avatar hair clipping through hats! Apparently, they’re adding a “hide helm” option next week, which should totally fix it. It’s awesome to see them listening to the community like that!
He also announced that a new Hytale update is releasing tomorrow. This update will add dinosaurs to the Z4 underground area, update the sounds for mining, and let players place torches while dual-wielding items, among other changes. While the update will include bug fixes, the specifics haven’t been shared yet.

The team behind Hytale has been consistently working to make the game better throughout its early access period. Today, they released a quick update to fix some issues with connecting to the game and improve its overall stability.
