As a seasoned Pokémon GO trainer with years of experience under my belt, I must admit that the Party Share feature has been a game-changer! I remember the days when the Party Play felt like a half-baked attempt at encouraging social play, but Party Share has breathed new life into it.
During the Legendary Heroes event, a new function called Pokemon GO Party Share was presented. This function enables linked players to enjoy the perks of certain premium items. Originally, the Party Play feature, introduced the previous year, had been somewhat underwhelming and lacked any significant incentive other than special research tasks for trainers to engage with it.
As a seasoned gamer, I’ve just got my hands on the newest update for Party Play in Pokémon GO! I’m eager to learn how this feature works and what goodies I can pass along to my teammates. This guide will shed some light on the intricacies of Party Share, including any potential restrictions or compatibility issues with other game features. Let’s dive right in!
How To Share Items With Your Party In Pokemon GO
As a dedicated Pokémon GO gamer, I’m thrilled about the latest update! Now, I can actually share my precious Incense, Lucky Eggs, and Star Pieces with my fellow trainers in Party Mode. Here’s how I’ll do it:
- Start a party with a friend by going into the Party tab and get them to scan your QR code.
- Choose a task from the list of three available.
- Go back into the party tab and click the Share button.
- Choose from an Incense, Star Piece, or Lucky Egg. You can then use more than one at a time to increase their effect.
This handy feature comes with some important points to keep in mind. Initially, the impact of the item gets cut in half. Yet, every player within your party receives a 30-minute bonus, regardless of the number of players. Consequently, it’s advisable to have a full party of four for maximum benefit from each item used. The exciting part is that during special events like Seasonal Events or Community Days, where the effects of these items are amplified, the Party Share versions will be only half as strong as those boosted rates.
With Party Share, there are certain restrictions. You can’t blend the perks of sharing these items with rewards from Daily Incense, the Coin Bag, or the Mystery Box. Each item can only be shared up to four times within your party, but there’s no cap on how often you can gain benefits from other players.
When Is The Best Time To Use Items In Party Share?
When you’re out socializing with several friends, the optimal moments to light an Incense are during Spotlight Hours, Community Days, Real-world events, Region events, or Go Fests. These occasions often attract a high number of rare spawns. By doing so, you can collaborate with your friends and share resources more effectively, making the Party feature even more useful.
It’s best to utilize Lucky Eggs and Star Pieces primarily during Raid Days, Raid Hours, or similar occasions where the primary activity is raiding. During these raid sessions, they can also provide Party Play buffs to your Pokemon, making it advisable to watch for upcoming event bonuses that enhance XP or Stardust rewards.
