This was stated by John “Bucky” Buckley, Global Community Manager at Pocketpair, during an interview with Game Rant at this year’s Tokyo Game Show. Buckley remained resolute, expressing their determination to press forward in discussions about Palworld’s future.
Due to the length of time that had elapsed since the game was first released in early access, it came as a shock when Nintendo decided to take legal action against Pocketpair for patent violations earlier this month. This revelation left the Pocketpair team, who claimed they hadn’t received any direct communication from Nintendo before the lawsuit, equally astounded.
According to certain experts, it’s been suggested that the patent supposedly violated by Pocketpair might be linked to mechanisms for capturing creatures. However, there’s been no definitive confirmation yet about this possibility.
