To enhance visibility, players might need to eliminate Splinters of Fate and various other obstacles from the biome.
As a devoted admirer, I’d like to share an intriguing fact: there are six distinct varieties of Cobras that call the Glittering Dunes their home. Each type boasts a unique appearance and specific conditions for spawning. Interestingly, these variants only appear on certain days, at particular times, and within defined regions within the Glittering Dunes.

Cobra’s Favorite Food in Disney Dreamlight Valley
In Disney Dreamlight Valley, you can offer any item to wild creatures as a gift, but each companion has a favorite food that greatly increases their affection towards you, which is essential for them to become your companions. For instance, the Cobra in this game prefers Eggs. You can buy these Eggs in abundance from the store within Chez Remy for 220 Star Coins per piece. This should make both Cobras and Gaston happy.
In the wild, when a player comes across a Cobra, it will act much like the Raccoons you find in The Forest of Valor. To feed this Cobra, the player must track the serpent until it becomes aware of their presence, causing it to turn and face them. With the Cobra’s head lowered, the player can then move closer to the snake.
Once the Cobra becomes active, the player must remain motionless to prevent scaring it away. By following a game similar to “Red Light, Green Light”, where movement is halted when the Cobra is active, the player can eventually reach and interact with the Cobra. This interaction allows for feeding its preferred food.
Befriending Cobras and Unlocking Them As Animal Companions
To make Cobras into friendly companions and bond with them, players should offer a tray of Eggs when they are accessible on certain days. Each Cobra type can be shown affection only once per day. Additional gifts given on the same day won’t boost affection, and players cannot form friendships with multiple types of Cobras in a single day. Instead, they must select one specific Cobra color to nurture their friendship each day.
