They rebuilt it in Minecraft, carefully copying many of the original details. The user says the Minecraft version is built to the exact same scale as the original game. To show how accurate it is, GeneralGeneral5302 included side-by-side screenshots of Armadillo from both Red Dead Redemption 2 and Minecraft, demonstrating that the layouts are almost identical.

I recently shared my Minecraft build on the subreddit, and I included some screenshots to show everyone how big it is. I basically rebuilt the town of Armadillo, and I really tried to get all the details right – I wanted to nail that Wild West vibe. What’s cool is I didn’t just build the outside of the buildings, I did the interiors too! I’ve got pictures of the inside of the jail and the saloon, so people can see everything.

Minecraft is Releasing More Game Drops in 2026

As a long-time Minecraft player, I’m really happy to see the game still getting updates! Mojang just hinted at a big release planned for 2026, and it sounds awesome. They’re giving baby animals a total cuteness overhaul – seriously, the new designs look adorable! Plus, they’re finally letting us craft name tags, which is a huge win. No more losing track of my favorite pets!

While there’s no official release date yet, players can try out these new features now in the Java snapshot and Bedrock beta/preview versions. Based on how Minecraft updates were released last year, we might see these features in the full game around March. However, we’ll need to wait for Mojang to confirm. In the meantime, the community is already creating some amazing builds to enjoy!
