PUBG Studios is getting ready to launch a new game called PUBG: Blindspot. It’s a 5v5 team shooter with a top-down perspective, and players will soon be able to try it out through an Early Access program.
Okay, so PUBG is trying something totally different with this new game, Blindspot, and honestly, I’m really excited! It’s not the battle royale we all know, but from what I’ve seen in the demos, it looks like a ton of fun. If you want to check it out, now’s the perfect time – it’s in Early Access and completely free to play, so you can jump in without spending a dime!
Keep reading to learn when PUBG: Blindspot will be available in Early Access and how you can start playing.
PUBG: Blindspot Early Access Release Date

PUB: Blindspot Early Access launches on February 5, 2026, and is completely free to play – you don’t need to buy it beforehand.
Once the game is available on Steam, all you need to do is download it. The good news is it doesn’t seem to need a powerful computer and only takes up 8 GB of space, so you won’t have to delete anything else to make room.
The initial release of PUBG: Blindspot will be constantly updated with improvements and bug fixes. When it first launches, you’ll be able to play 5v5 online team battles, where you can master different character types, gain experience, and unlock new heroes. However, the final version of the game after this testing phase may look quite different.
When Will PUBG: Blindspot Officially Release?

The official release date for PUBG: Blindspot isn’t set yet. The developers have said that it will depend on how development goes and what players think of the game during its Early Access period.
PUBG Studios emphasizes that letting players try the game early – through what’s called Early Access – is essential for both building the game and being open about the development process. This allows the community to give direct input on things like gameplay, fairness, and the game’s overall feel, helping to refine it before the official launch.
The developers have stated that the final game will be more expansive than the Early Access version. They plan to improve the core gameplay and add a lot more content for players to experience when the full game launches.
Planning to try out PUBG: Blindspot during Early Access? Come share your feedback and discuss it with the community on the official TopMob Discord server!
