Will Forza Horizon 6 be on PlayStation 5?
Playground Games has confirmed that Forza Horizon 6 is coming to PlayStation 5, but it won’t be available right away.
Following the positive reception of Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5, the next installment in the series will also be released on PlayStation. This time, PlayStation players won’t have to wait as long – it will launch much sooner than Forza Horizon 5 did.
Forza Horizon 6 will first be available on Xbox Series X|S and PC. It will come to PlayStation later on.
Similar to the previous game, everyone will be able to play together no matter what device they’re on – whether they’re exploring the world, racing, or just having fun.
When Will Forza Horizon 6 be on PlayStation 5?
Playground Games hasn’t announced a specific release date for Forza Horizon 6 on PlayStation 5, but they’ve confirmed it will be available sometime after the initial launch on other platforms.
During the announcement of Forza Horizon 6, Playground Games and Turn 10 Studios shared that they’re collaborating to release the game on PlayStation 5 after it initially launches, responding to the high demand for the Forza Horizon series on other systems.
Because Xbox hasn’t released many games on multiple platforms yet, the past Forza Horizon releases don’t offer much of a clue. However, looking at other games might give us an idea of how long PlayStation fans will have to wait for new releases.
Indiana Jones and the Great Circle came out on Xbox Series X|S and PC in December 2024, and the PlayStation 5 version followed in April 2025—about four months later. Considering this pattern, we can anticipate a similar wait for the PS5 release of Forza Horizon 6.
