But then, when things lined up with Megumi, he finally cashed in on that deal he made with Yuji, fulfilling their Binding Vow. It was a long time coming, and it felt like he was just waiting for the perfect moment to act!

Sukuna unexpectedly ripped off his own finger and forced Megumi to consume it, allowing him to take control of Megumi’s body by displacing his soul from Yuji. This shocking event in Jujutsu Kaisen revealed Sukuna reaching a new, incredibly powerful state, setting the stage for an epic final battle.

Gojo’s Return Was Long Awaited And Inspired Everyone

As a Jujutsu Kaisen fan, it’s been so frustrating watching the Shibuya Incident and Culling Game unfold! Everyone kept saying things could have been avoided if Gojo was around, and that’s exactly why Kenjaku went to such lengths to lock him up in the Prison Realm. Because of that, getting Gojo out of there quickly became a huge priority for all the good guys during the Culling Game – it felt like the key to everything!

This all happened at the same time that Sukuna reached his full power while possessing Megumi, creating the conditions for an epic Jujutsu battle. Many wondered how Gojo would approach the fight, but he confidently assured everyone he would win. He claimed that throughout history, only he and Sukuna had the power to truly challenge each other as the strongest sorcerers.
