Players embark on a journey to the hidden homeworld of House Va’ruun with the unveiling of “Shattered Space”, the first game expansion for Bethesda Game Studios’ open-world space RPG, Starfield. Shattered Space offers a unique visual experience and insights into a faction of Starfield that dwells in mystery, characterized by a dark belief system reflecting its space-age ideology.
To access all the fresh content on Va’ruun’kai, House Va’ruun’s secluded world, players must first embrace their faith and align themselves with House Va’ruun. This allegiance will be marked as a sacred vow in the game Shattered Space. Once sworn in, players will receive one of six exclusive titles unique to Va’ruun’kai, which other characters on the planet will use when addressing them. The title you receive isn’t chosen at random but is influenced by the effigies selected during your conversion process.
Each Effigy Choice & Promised Title Reward
In Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC, you’ll find four distinct statues, or effigies, to select from. These choices result in a total of six unique sets of effigies. Initially, the choice of effigy might not appear significant, but the combination you pick determines the title of your Promised vessel once the conversion process is finished. The four available effigies are:
- Strength
- Perseverance
- Obedience
- Devotion
To complete the conversion process, players must place an effigy on two altars, and it’s this choice that defines the Promised title for the player for the duration of their stay on Va’ruun’kai.
How To Earn The Vindicator Promised Title
Players earning the title “The Vindicator” do so by selecting either the Effigy of Strength or the Effigy of Perseverance, regardless of the order they choose them in.
How To Earn The Harbinger Promised Title
Players receiving the “Harbinger” title do so by selecting either the Strength or Devotion Effigies, with the specific sequence of selection not affecting the outcome.
How To Earn The Armiger Promised Title
Individuals choosing the effigies labeled “Strength and Obedience” will be granted the title of Armiger in recognition of their efforts. Just like the other options, the sequence in which they are selected holds no significance.
How To Earn The Diviner Promised Title
Persistence and Loyalty Statues grant the Oracle their promised title upon selection, and the sequence is not significant.
How To Earn The Adherent Promised Title
Choosing either the Perseverance or Obedience Figurines will earn a player the title of Adherent, regardless of the order selected.
How To Earn The Reverent Promised Title
The Reverent Promised title is given to players who choose the Devotion and Obedience Effigies in any order.
Which Promised Title Is The Best In Starfield’s Shattered Space DLC?
In the Shattered Space DLC, the chosen titles are all equally appealing and serve no functional purpose. They’re merely cosmetic options that allow players to personalize their in-game nicknames.
