When Does Season 5 End and Season 6 Start in Diablo 4?

As a seasoned Diablo player, immersed in the dark and gritty world of Sanctuary for over two decades, I eagerly anticipate the conclusion of Season 5 and the dawn of Season 6. The impending end of the Infernal Hordes season leaves me with a mix of nostalgia and excitement, knowing that a fresh challenge awaits in the Vessel of Hatred expansion.

Just like numerous others, I’m still deeply engrossed in Diablo 4 gaming sessions. This action role-playing game (ARPG) has become one of my top choices right now, offering a perfect blend for those quick, hour or two playthroughs each evening, yet still allowing substantial progress as you traverse Helltides and Infernal Hordes. However, the present season is nearing its conclusion; a fresh season will commence simultaneously with the debut of the game’s initial expansion, Vessel of Hatred. So, let us mark our calendars for when Season 5 concludes and Diablo 4 Season 6 begins!

When Does Diablo 4 Season 5 End?

If you’re still actively working on leveling your latest Whirlwind Barbarian in Season 5, you might want to pick up the pace a little. Season 5 of Diablo 4 ends on October 8th, approximately one hour before the launch of the next season.

This ongoing season, known as the Season of the Infernal Mobs, introduces a distinct gameplay feature where players engage in defending against waves of demons. As you advance, random bonuses and penalties (rogue-like elements) modify your experience, creating a dynamic adventure. The goal is to conquer the final boss room and collect the prizes. It proved to be an efficient means for upgrading an end-game character swiftly.

When Does Diablo 4 Season 6 Start?

The beginning of Diablo 4 Season 6 is scheduled for October 8th, around 10-11 in the morning Pacific Standard Time. However, keep in mind that the exact start time could be adjusted based on factors such as Blizzard’s decisions and the game’s server conditions.

In Season 6, we see the debut of the Vessel of Hatred, the game’s primary expansion, featuring a fresh class called the Spiritborne, a completely new area for exploration, and innovative gameplay elements.

In addition, one major update for this season is the reduction of character levels. Similar to World of Warcraft, Blizzard has decided to decrease the maximum level from 100 to 50 in Diablo 4, but they will later introduce an additional 10 levels for a total cap of 60 in the expansion. In tandem with this change, item levels and power will also be adjusted to match these new limits.

Earlier this year at Gamescom, Blizzard revealed an exciting new trailer explaining the mechanics of Mercenaries within the Vessel of Hatred. If you’re a fan of the game, it’s definitely worth checking out!
