The factory-building aspect of Arknights: Endfield is reminiscent of the game Satisfactory, blending it with the anime and gacha elements of the Arknights series. As players, known as Endmins, construct their factories, they’ll need to focus on generating and increasing their power supply. It’s likely that, after playing for a while, you’ll even encounter limits to how much power your factory can handle.
Fortunately, it’s easy to increase power output in Arknights: Endfield. Here’s how.
How To Increase Power Output In Arknights Endfield
In Arknights: Endfield, you’ll eventually need to construct a Thermal Bank to boost your power generation. This becomes necessary as your base expands and requires more than the initial 200 electricity limit.
You can get the Thermal Bank by first researching the ‘Power I’ upgrade in the Power section of the AIC Factory Plan. This lets Endmin build their own Thermal Banks, and also gives you a free one to test out.
You’ll need 10 Origocrust and 10 Amethyst Parts to build a Thermal Bank. Here’s where to find them:
- Origocrust: In a Refining Unit, place 1 Originium Ore to get 1 Origocrust
- Amethyst Fiber: In a Refining Unit, place 1 Amethyst Ore to get 1 Amethyst Fiber
- Amethyst Part: In a Fitting Unit, place 1 Amethyst Fiber to get 1 Amethyst Part
Thermal Banks can be powered by either Originium Ores or batteries. The type of fuel you use affects how much power the bank generates – better fuel means more power. Here’s an example of the power output from different materials:
- Originium Ore: 50 Power
- LC Valley Battery: 220 Power
- SC Valley Battery: 420 Power
Since Originium Ore is much easier to find than batteries at the start of the game, it’s best to focus on collecting that. Once space becomes limited, Endmin can then switch to using batteries.
Besides using them for power, batteries can be sold at the Outpost for a good price. Here’s how to craft both the LC Valley Battery and the SC Valley Battery.
LC Valley Battery
- Originium Powder: In a Shredding Unit, place 1 Originium Ore to get 1 Originium Powder
- Amethyst Fiber: In a Refining Unit, place 1 Amethyst Ore to get 1 Amethyst Fiber
- Amethyst Part: In a Fitting Unit, place 1 Amethyst Fiber to get 1 Amethyst Part
- LC Valley Battery: In a Packaging Unit, place 5 Amethyst Parts and 10 Originium Powders to get 1 LC Valley Battery
SC Valley Battery
- Originium Powder: In a Shredding Unit, place 1 Originium Ore to get 1 Originium Powder
- Ferrium: In a Refining Unit, place 1 Ferrium Ore to get 1 Ferrium
- Ferrium Part: In a Fitting Unit, place 1 Ferrium to get 1 Ferrium Part
- SC Valley Battery: In a Packaging Unit, place 10 Ferrium Parts and 15 Originium Powders to get 1 SC Valley Battery
