Steam is giving away another free game! You can get Kiki for free until January 31st. Steam regularly offers free games, so if you’ve been collecting them, you probably have quite a few by now. Some free Steam games are yours to keep forever, while others are only available for a limited time.
Recently, Steam allowed players to try three games – FBC: Firebreak, Pax Dei, and No Rest for the Wicked – for free for a limited time. However, once the promotional period ends, access to these games will be removed. This is different from Steam’s fully free games, which players can keep permanently, like their latest offering.
Kiki is Free on Steam
Until January 31st at noon Central Time, Steam is giving away the platforming game Kiki for free. While it came out in 2024 and doesn’t have many reviews yet, it’s received somewhat mixed reactions. If you enjoy 3D platformers, it might be worth checking out – and it’s free, so you can decide for yourself! Just remember the offer ends on January 31st at noon CST, after which the game will cost $4.99.
Other Free PC Games You Can Claim Right Now

- Hangman Earth (Microsoft Store) – until January 27
- Rustler (Epic Games Store) – until January 29 at 10:00am CST
Besides Kiki, another free game is available on PC right now. If you use the Epic Games Store, you can claim Rustler for free until January 29th. Rustler is a medieval take on the classic Grand Theft Auto formula – it’s often called “Grand Theft Horse.” Like Kiki, reviews for Rustler are mixed, but it’s worth grabbing and trying out for yourself.
After Kiki, we don’t know what free game Steam will offer next. However, the Epic Games Store has announced its next free title: Rustler is available until January 29th at 10:00am CST, and will then be replaced by Definitely Not Fried Chicken. This game is a business simulator where you run a fried chicken restaurant that secretly hides a drug empire – a concept that seems inspired by the show Breaking Bad. PC gamers can claim Definitely Not Fried Chicken from January 29th to February 5th.
You can usually find free PC games on platforms like Steam and the Epic Games Store, but sometimes they pop up elsewhere too. Right now, the Microsoft Store is offering a free game called Hangman Earth. It’s available to download for free until January 27th, so if you’re a PC gamer, be sure to grab it before the offer ends!
