As a gamer with a penchant for quirky and engaging narrative-driven games, I can hardly contain my excitement for the release of Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!, set to grace our screens on November 7th. Having dabbled in the first installment, Chicken Police: Paint it RED!, I found myself drawn into the intriguing world of Sonny Featherland and Marty MacChicken, their banter, and the captivating mystery that unfolded before me.
Joystick Ventures and The Wild Gentlemen have jointly revealed that their game, Chicken Police: Into the HIVE, will be launched on November 7th.
The game’s debut is exclusive to PC through Steam initially, but it will eventually be available on PS4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series S|X, and Nintendo Switch following the PC launch. As suggested by the image at the top of this article, a novel aspect of the second installment in the series is the ability to toggle between the monochrome style of the original game and the vibrant “colorful” mode whenever desired.

Delve into the gritty backstreets of Clawville, questioning over 30 individuals across more than 35 distinct locations. Maintain your sharp instincts as you sort through deceit to dodge trouble. Remember that in this city, everyone has their own agenda, and if something seems suspicious, it likely is.
Bálint Bánk Varga, one of the founders of The Wild Gentlemen, announced that the game “Chicken Police: Into the HIVE!” will be available on consoles following its PC release. He and his team are putting in a lot of effort to ensure that console players who enjoyed “Chicken Police: Paint it RED!” won’t have to wait long before they can join in solving the mystery of the Hive as well.
Back in February, we had the opportunity to try out a pre-release version of the game, and Lyle found it delightful. He commented: “Chicken Police: Into the HIVE might seem like a straightforward game with elements of pointing, clicking, and talking to animals. However, its exceptional storytelling and irresistible charm make it an absolute gem. I’m disappointed that I could only play for an hour, and I can’t wait to delve deeper into this captivating game.
