Finished another week and want to keep your New York Times Connections streak going? This guide offers helpful hints and solutions to solve today’s puzzle quickly and easily, so you can start your Sunday off right.

Having trouble with today’s NYT Connections? We’ve got hints and answers below to help you solve it and get on with your day! You’re welcome.

What is NYT Connections?

I should probably give a quick explanation of how things work before sharing today’s hints for the NYT Connections game.

I jumped into NYT Connections when it came out in June 2023, and it instantly became a favorite! It’s one of those super easy-to-access games from the New York Times, which is awesome. Best part? It’s totally free to play, and I can play it anywhere – on my computer or right on my phone. It’s available all over the world, too!

NYT Connections is a great way to pass the time, like when you’re commuting or waiting for your coffee.

But how do you play NYT Connections?

It’s relatively simple, and that’s why it’s the best New York Times game, in my opinion.

Each day, the New York Times will give you 16 words arranged in a grid. Your job is to divide those words into four groups of four, based on what they have in common. There’s only one correct solution to each puzzle, and sometimes the words can be misleading, making it a bit challenging to solve.

The words are also color-coded – yellow, blue, green, and purple – to show how challenging they are. They go from easiest to hardest in that order.

Okay, so here’s the thing – you only get four tries with NYT Connections each day. Once you’ve used those four guesses, that’s it! You won’t be able to play anymore, it’s basically game over. You really need to think carefully about each one!
