A reliable source has revealed that LEGO is planning at least three new themes for release in 2026. The report also includes the internal code names for these themes and some initial details about the first sets we can expect to see.
In 2025, LEGO launched new product lines based on popular franchises like One Piece and Bluey. As of late January 2026, LEGO offers products across 45 different themes. They started 2026 with a Pokemon line, and more new themes are expected to be released soon.
LEGO’s 2026 Themes Reportedly Include ‘Lollipop’
A reliable LEGO insider, lego_minecraft_goat, says we can expect at least three new LEGO themes to be released in 2026, currently known as themes ‘P’, ‘B’, and ‘Lollipop’. While it’s unclear what these themes will be, some LEGO fans believe one of them could be based on the popular Netflix animated musical, KPop Demon Hunters. Other trustworthy sources within the LEGO community, like Brick Tap, have also hinted that a KPop Demon Hunters LEGO line is being developed.

According to lego_minecraft_goat, five new LEGO sets are expected to be released soon, though the official theme names are still unconfirmed. Set 72306 is rumored to be part of the ‘P’ theme and will likely cost $159.99. Another set, 72537, is predicted to be a $69.99 release within the ‘Lollipop’ range. The ‘B’ theme is expected to include sets 72421 and 72422, potentially as store exclusives, along with set 72423, which is anticipated to retail for $119.99.

P, B, and Lollipop Themes Unlikely To Include LEGO Smart Play Sets at Launch
Looking at how LEGO usually prices its sets, a $70 set likely contains between 550 and 900 pieces, and a $120 set probably has 1,000 to 1,500. The $160 set (72306) might have around 2,000 pieces to justify the cost. However, it’s becoming harder to guess piece counts because of LEGO’s new Smart Play system, which adds electronic components and sensors to builds. Sets with these “smart bricks,” like the upcoming Star Wars sets, tend to give you fewer bricks for your money. But these new leaked sets probably won’t use Smart Play, as LEGO is only gradually introducing the platform, starting in 2026, and is focusing on Pokemon and Star Wars as its first smart toy lines this year.
LEGO usually releases new sets in predictable patterns tied to retail seasons, but they don’t announce a firm schedule for completely new product lines, so these can appear at any time. Generally, LEGO has four main release periods – January, March, June, and August – to coincide with shopping trends and retailer planning. If LEGO is planning more new themes for 2026, they’ll likely launch around June to prepare for summer and the upcoming holiday season.
The actual release timing also depends on LEGO’s existing plans and marketing goals. Because LEGO already has many sets scheduled for March 2026, a new theme might be delayed to avoid competing for space in stores and customer focus. For the rumored ‘KPop Demon Hunters’ line, a release in summer or late summer would fit with LEGO’s typical release schedule. However, past LEGO sets based on Netflix shows have had varying release dates—’One Piece’ launched in August, but ‘Stranger Things’ came out at different times. This shows that LEGO doesn’t have a fixed schedule for releasing sets tied to Netflix properties.
