I have a feeling this story has so much more to give – amazing writing, incredible fights, and honestly, I’m bracing myself for some major character moments, even if that means saying goodbye to some favorites.

The beginning of the Boruto manga was relatively cheerful, which was fitting considering it followed Boruto Uzumaki and his friends during their childhood. It had some serious moments, but it couldn’t be as intense as the current arc, Two Blue Vortex, because the characters were younger. Now, with about three years having passed and the characters nearing adulthood, the author, Ikemoto, has more freedom to explore darker storylines without limitations. Because of this, fans anticipate Two Blue Vortex will be significantly more mature and intense than the first part of Boruto, and the story is already heading in that direction.

I’m noticing a disturbing trend in the Boruto: Two Blue Vortex manga – a lot of characters seem to be heading for serious trouble, and the latest chapter really emphasized that. On top of that, the Fire Nation’s leader, Kobu, is giving the Hokage a lot of grief. He knows several Konoha ninja are involved in this, and he even suspects the Hokage himself. Because of this, Kashin Koji, who is leading the fight against the Shinju, understands that Kobu needs to be neutralized somehow.

The latest Boruto manga chapter showed Kashin Koji manipulating Inojin into using his Mind-Body Transfer Jutsu on Kobu. He then ordered Inojin to climb the Hokage building and, shockingly, commit suicide with Kobu – effectively killing him. Inojin was horrified by this request, as he refused to become a murderer and couldn’t bring himself to take Kobu’s life.

Everyone thought Kobu would be safe because Inojin refused to follow Koji’s orders. However, Goji’s toad unexpectedly attacked Shinju Mamushi, and now Mamushi is pursuing Kobu. It won’t be long before this strong ninja from the Land of Fire is defeated.

Kobu’s Death Is Very Likely To Happen

Kobu is almost certain to die in the upcoming chapter of Boruto: Two Blue Vertex, and this will likely cause major problems for the Land of Fire. His death could lead to conflict between the Fire Nation’s leader and Konoha, putting the village in a dangerous position. While Shikamaru is a skilled strategist and might be able to cover it up, Konoha’s future is at stake, which is a frightening thought.

Eida And Daemon Could Also Die
