Soon, players of Hytale will be able to catch Pokemon in the game! A team of modders called PokeFind is bringing their popular Pokemon mod – originally created for Minecraft – to Hytale. PokeFind has been making Pokemon mods for Minecraft for eight years, with creations including Pokemon Survival mode, a full Pokemon World with its own story, Pokemon Skyblock, and PokeWars. They’re now adapting their work for Hytale’s survival and crafting gameplay.
Even though Hytale is still being developed and isn’t fully finished, the game includes powerful tools that let players create their own content. Some of the most popular additions so far have been new items and character skins, and this PokeFind mod aims to add both. Installing mods is easy – players simply need to use the CurseForge app.
Minecraft Modders PokeFind Are Bringing the Pokemon Mod to Hytale
Okay, so huge news for anyone who loves both Minecraft and Pokemon! PokeFind just announced on X that they’re bringing their awesome Pokemon mods over to Hytale! They dropped a quick preview, and I spotted Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle – plus their evolutions – looking really good. They’re building all the models completely from scratch, which is insane! No word yet on when we can actually play with it in Hytale, but I’m already hyped!
PokeFind’s Minecraft servers are known for being easy to join – players using either Java or Bedrock versions don’t need to download any extra modifications. This is different from popular Pokémon Minecraft mods like Pixelmon and Cobblemon, which require players to install and load mods themselves. While PokeFind hasn’t announced how Hytale players will access these mods, they will likely use server-side plugins to make the Pokémon experience available in Hytale.

PokeFind hasn’t revealed all the details about its upcoming mod for the game Hytale, but fans can anticipate many of the features they enjoyed in the PokeFind Minecraft mods. The popular Pokemon Survival Mode and the Pokemon World MMO, complete with its own story, are both confirmed to be included. Shiny Pokemon will also be available in the Hytale mod.
Since revealing the Hytale mod, the creator has been sharing updates on the Pokemon models, incorporating feedback from the community. For example, the Abra model has already been improved since the initial announcement. They’re also working on letting players ride Pokemon like Charizard, allowing them to fly around the game world.
Hytale already has a diverse range of creatures, comparable to Minecraft’s. Alongside realistic animals like bears, foxes, and squirrels, Hytale includes fantastical beasts such as werewolves, yetis, and even a Cave Rex. While Hytale players currently have plenty of wildlife to discover, the addition of 1,025 Pokémon through the PokeFind mod will significantly expand the variety of creatures available once the mod is released.
