How to Find & Catch Sulkowsky’s Morpho in Heartopia

While many players in Heartopia enjoy activities like gardening and fishing, catching bugs is surprisingly calming. It’s easy to get hooked on collecting them all, but some bugs, like the Sulkowsky’s Morpho, can be really hard to find – and that’s where a little help comes in handy.

Sulkowsky’s Morpho is a tricky butterfly to find in Heartopia, as it doesn’t appear everywhere. There’s even a secret condition you need to fulfill before it will start spawning. Here’s a guide to help you discover where and how to find Sulkowsky’s Morpho.

How to Unlock Sulkowsky’s Morpho in Heartopia

You’ll need to reach Insect Catching Level 4 and get the Inflatable Insect Attractor before you can catch a Sulkowsky’s Morpho. Although the Morpho is available from the start of the Insect Catching hobby, you can’t actually catch it without the attractor, so it’s a good idea to level up and get the item first.

Okay, so I just found out you can get the Inflatable Insect Attractor from Naniwa for 2,000 Gold, but you can also use a Wishing Star if you’d rather! Once you have it, you can finally start trying to find and catch that super rare Sulkowsky’s Morpho – I’ve been waiting for this!

How to Catch Sulkowsky’s Morpho in Heartopia

You can find the Sulkowsky’s Morpho butterfly in two places – Onsen Mountain and the Fishing Village. It appears when the weather is sunny, rainy, or rainbow, and at any time of day. Just equip your insect net and look around in either of those locations when the weather is right.

Having trouble locating the Sulkowsky’s Morpho butterfly? The “Bait the Insects” event can help! It lets you attract and catch multiple bugs quickly, and you can even team up with friends to make it easier.

To begin, visit Naniwa and select the “Bait the Insects” event. This will take you to Onsen Mountain, where you’ll have two rounds of insect catching, each lasting three minutes. You can catch as many insects as possible during each round, and you might even be lucky enough to find some rare species!
