The first full Nintendo Direct of the year could be coming next week.
On Monday, reliable Nintendo leaker NateTheHate discussed when fans can anticipate the next major Nintendo Direct presentation in a new video.
So, I heard from someone in the know that the first Nintendo Direct of 2026 is planned for the first week of February. Pretty exciting if true!
He then said that the expectation is that the show will take place on Thursday, February 5.
NateTheHate said next week is the likely timeframe, but he hasn’t fully confirmed the details yet. He’s still checking with his sources and will share any updates or corrections on social media when he has them.
He also stated he wasn’t sure what kind of Nintendo Direct it would be and didn’t reveal any potential games that might be featured.
Remember, this Nintendo Direct information is just a rumor, so don’t believe it completely until reliable sources like TopMob confirm it, or Nintendo officially announces it.
Nintendo won’t make fans wait much longer for updates on its games. The company revealed on Monday that it will host a dedicated presentation focused on Tomodachi Life on January 29th.
