Okay, so I just found out about this game, Half Sword, and it looks intense! It’s a medieval physics game where you’re basically trying to win by, well, dismembering opponents – seriously, it’s going to be pretty brutal! I’ve been looking for details on how much it costs, and I figured I’d share what I found in case other fans are wondering if it’s worth the price of admission.
TopMob calls Half Sword ‘the funniest medieval combat game out there.’ If you haven’t checked it out yet, you really should! Many players have already started battling and defeating opponents in the free demo – it’s a chaotic and fun experience.
Soon, Half Sword will be released for purchase, and you’ll want to know how much it costs.
Half Sword Price, Explained

The developers of the upcoming combat game have announced on their Half Sword Discord server that it will cost less than $30 when it enters early access, and there will be a launch discount available.
Okay, so they haven’t announced the exact price yet, but I checked the Half Sword Discord and the FAQ there gave me a better idea of how much it’s gonna cost. It’s not a firm number, but it’s something!
Price is still TBA. It will be less then $30 and the first two weeks of EA will feature a discount.
You have a limited time to get early access at a discounted price. The Half Sword Discord server is very busy with thousands of players, and the developers frequently share updates. The price might increase before the game officially launches, but everyone will know for sure on release day.
Does Half Sword Have Microtransactions?
You might be pleased to hear that Half Sword will feature no microtransactions of any kind.
The official FAQ directly addresses concerns about microtransactions with a straightforward answer: simply, “No.”
After the game officially releases, we might add more free content or larger expansions – it’s still in early access – but we definitely won’t be using microtransactions.
Half Sword is shaping up to be a really exciting and enjoyable game when it releases in 2026. It has a unique, intense concept and is priced affordably.
