Highguard Website Crashes After Game’s Launch

The excitement around the new game, Highguard, is definitely justified. Players, and even some of us here at TopMob, are experiencing significant wait times just to connect, and the surge in visitors has even caused the game’s website to crash.

Wildlight Entertainment released their game, Highguard, on Monday and shared a gameplay video. After the video ended, lots of players visited the game’s website to learn more about its features and what’s coming next, but the website couldn’t handle the sudden surge in visitors.

Currently, the PlayHighguard.com website isn’t working. When you try to visit it, you’ll see a loading screen followed by an error message, and it appears to be down for all users, not just some.

The game quickly drew a large crowd, with SteamDB reporting over 63,000 players within the first 30 minutes. It’s not yet clear if everyone who tried was able to actually start playing.

The lack of news about the game since it was announced is a good sign for the future of Highguard, as long as players enjoy the game once they start playing it.
