As a lifelong fan of SpongeBob SquarePants, I can hardly contain my excitement over the release of SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game! Growing up with this iconic series, Patrick Star was always my favorite character – his zany antics and endless optimism never failed to bring a smile to my face.
Today, Outright Games officially launched SpongeBob SquarePants: The Patrick Star Game on both PC and gaming consoles. To mark this occasion, they’ve unveiled a fresh new trailer!
The team announces about the release: “This game is set in the world of the popular and legendary Nickelodeon series SpongeBob SquarePants. To commemorate the 25th anniversary of the show, players can transform into the pinkest and funniest resident of Bikini Bottom in this fresh, singleplayer, sandbox adventure game.

Experience Patrick’s special moments: journey through his whimsical perspective to craft fresh, unconventional escapades filled with friends and engaging solo missions. Clean out Squidward’s preferred sunbathing area by tossing deck chairs, aiming a water cannon, and surprising visitors with burps; or embark on a Skydiving mission alongside Sandy, utilizing Gliding Wings, a Parachute, or a Parasol to soar through targets and touch down on a moving landing platform. Throughout your adventure, enthusiasts will also uncover numerous costumes and discover amusing Easter Eggs from the show as they advance, including Smitty Werbenjägermanjensen’s grave, Squidward’s infinite sunglasses, bubble pies, and many more fun surprises.
Traverse through the vibrant 3D underwater landscape of Bikini Bottom, recognizing famous landmarks from the show such as Downtown, Conch Street, Jellyfish Fields, the Fast Food Coliseum, Bikini Bottom University, and even the trash-filled Dump. The game includes exclusive additions to familiar locations, like an expanded Krabby Patty area known as the Krabby Patio, and Mrs. Puff’s control over the Destruction Derby Arena.
Just as anticipated, the game features some familiar voices, including Bill Fagerbakke as Patrick, Tom Kenny as SpongeBob, Rodger Bumpass as Squidward, and Clancy Brown as Mr. Krabs, with even more voices to come, Outright Games mentions.
