In Code Vein 2, Golden Blood Beads are items that boost how much health and stamina you regain when you rest at a Mistle – the game’s checkpoints. There are 12 Golden Blood Beads hidden throughout the game, letting you fully upgrade your regeneration to Level 13. This guide shows you where to find them all, so you can improve your healing by selecting the ‘enhance regeneration’ option at any Mistle.
We strongly suggest exploring the entire map in Code Vein 2 before you start collecting Golden Blood Beads. This will make getting to them much simpler.
How to Find Golden Blood Beads in Code Vein
Let’s talk about where to find the Golden Blood Beads, which are shaped like cat statues on pedestals. You’ll always find them inside Towers of Regeneration – these are tall towers with stained-glass windows. These towers show up on the map once you’ve explored the area, and here’s what the icon looks like:

MagMell Island Golden Blood Beads
- Northeast of the Clifftop Cavern. Follow the coast to the north of the cave to reach the tower.
Sunken City Golden Blood Beads
- Northwest of the Seized Substation. There is a small road north of the substation that can be used to reach it.
- Near the Sunken Pylon. To reach the tower, climb to the top of the large building that appears on the map to the northwest. Use the ramp on the roof, and your motorcycle, to glide over the water.
- South of Checkpoint Ruins. Use the coast to the south of the ruins to reach the tower.
Corroded Scar Golden Blood Beads
- Next to the Miners’ Rest Stop Mistle.
- Southwest of the Northern Watch Tower. To reach it, pass through Riverport Watch Fort, southwest of the Tower of Regeneration, to access the Hidden Riverside Path. Follow that path.
Undead Forest Golden Blood Beads
- East of Snowy Mountain Amusement Park. Follow the curvy road from the entrance to that location.
- South of the Mountain Hamlet. Use the small road to the north of the Dam Lakeside Mistle to reach that area.
- In the Village Beneath the Dam.
Sealed Grounds Golden Blood Beads
- Tower of Regeneration inside Luna Rapacis, a location that becomes accessible near the end of the game. To reach it, use your motorcycle and glide over the gaps in the road.
Insula Carcere (2207: Upheaval Era) Golden Blood Beads
After finishing the game and rolling credits, you can continue playing from the main menu to unlock this area.
- In an alcove just beyond the Upper Prison Area Mistle.
Sealing Spire Golden Blood Beads
You can unlock this area after finishing the game and choosing “continue” on the main menu.
- Get the Cathedral Key by beating the enemy near the map jammer on Sealing Spire: Upper Floor. Use the key to open the gate in the room beyond the Sealing Spire: Upper Floor Mistle and follow the path.
