Even though the Dragon Ball Super anime took a long break, the manga continued to be released for several years. The manga introduced new story arcs that featured significant power increases for the main heroes of Universe 7.
The five main characters in the series have all recently achieved incredibly powerful new forms, exceeding anything they’ve been able to do before. These transformations have also given them access to amazing new abilities. Let’s explore the most powerful technique each character from Dragon Ball Super now possesses.
Piccolo’s Ultimate Attack Is Still Likely The Special Beam Cannon
Strongest Form: Orange Piccolo
- A tried and tested technique.
Fans really enjoyed the Dragon Ball Super: Super Hero arc, especially because it focused on Gohan and Piccolo. Piccolo got a significant power boost with his new Orange Piccolo form, making him much stronger than before.
Piccolo performed incredibly well in this story arc, but he never had the chance to use his strongest attack, which fans believe is still his famous Special Beam Cannon. Because he’s become so much more powerful and dangerous, the version of the Special Beam Cannon he could now unleash in his Orange state would be far stronger than it ever was before.
Broly’s Massive Ki Ball Could Have Blown Up The Earth
Strongest Form: Full Powered Super Saiyan
- Raw, unbridled power.
Broly possesses an incredible, unmatched potential. Even in his first real fight, he quickly became comparable to Goku and Vegeta in their Super Saiyan Blue forms, all without pushing himself to his absolute limit. Since then, he’s learned to harness his immense power, focusing it into a stable and powerful Full Powered Super Saiyan form.
Broly’s attacks haven’t been officially named, but the huge energy ball he used in his first movie is likely his most powerful, simply because of how big and dangerous it was. This could change as the manga continues and develops his character further, but currently, it stands as his most destructive attack.
Vegeta Can Use The Power Of Destruction In His Attacks
Strongest Form: Ultra Ego
- The power of the Destroyers.
Vegeta’s new Ultra Ego form still needs some refinement, but it’s clearly his most powerful offensive transformation yet. By tapping into the energy of the Destroyer Gods, Vegeta has reached a power level comparable to Goku and the others. What makes it special is that he actually grows stronger as he takes more damage.
Similar to Broly, Vegeta’s powerful new moves don’t have official names yet. However, the huge energy orb he used against Granolah is probably his strongest attack. It was his largest and most destructive technique, and likely would have obliterated anything it touched if Granolah hadn’t destroyed it first.
Gohan Can Now Use The Strongest Version Of The Special Beam Cannon
Strongest Form: Beast Gohan
- His teacher’s ultimate move.
Honestly, at this point, I think Gohan is a serious contender for the strongest being in all the universes! That new Gohan Beast form he unlocked during the Super Hero arc is just insane. He finally tapped into his full potential and reached a power level that’s honestly comparable to my hero, Goku, when he’s using Ultra Instinct. It was incredible to see – he took down Cell Max with almost no effort at all!
During that same storyline, Gohan shared that he hadn’t been inactive after the Tournament of Power. He’d been secretly training, specifically working on mastering his friend Piccolo’s signature move, the Special Beam Cannon. He ultimately succeeded, and it was this attack that finally defeated Cell Max.
Goku’s Spirit Avatar Is Unlike Anything We’ve Ever Seen
Strongest Form: Ultra Instinct
- The ultimate technique.
From the beginning of Dragon Ball Super, Goku’s main goal has been to unlock Ultra Instinct. He finally mastered this technique during the Tournament of Power, giving him the ability to react to threats automatically, allowing him to focus entirely on attacking.
Since the tournament ended, this technique has turned out to be surprisingly useful, largely thanks to Goku’s Spirit Avatar. It creates a giant, energy-based copy of the warrior, significantly boosting both his size and power. Currently, it appears to be the most powerful application of Ultra Instinct.
