After completing the initial tutorial in Arknights Endfield, you’ll begin Chapter 1, Valley IV. As you progress through the story, you’ll encounter the Valley Reboot quest, which involves establishing your base and setting up a power system. This guide will walk you through how to complete the Valley Reboot quest in Arknights Endfield.

Arknights Endfield Valley Reboot Quest, Explained

Once you meet Director Qin at the base entrance while doing the ‘Break the Siege’ quest, the ‘Valley Reboot’ quest will start in Arknights Endfield. From there, head to the outskirts of the base, which is called The Hub. Just follow the yellow circle on your map, and then continue to the deployment area using the next marker.

As you travel, you’ll encounter Landbreakers and might find UWST crew members under attack. Saving them is up to you, but it will earn you bonus rewards.

Once you’ve reached the deployment zone, eliminate all the Landbreaker enemies to open the way forward. After securing the area, you’ll find Andre, who needs you to install the Protocol Automation-Core (PAC) in the center of the base. Simply walk into the large yellow circle and choose the ‘Place PAC’ option. This will cause the tower to lower and connect to the core.

After completion, the hub transforms into the Core AIC Area and unlocks AIC Builder Mode. In this mode, you can build structures for resources and power, gather materials, and establish power connections, all starting from the hub.

How to Transmit Power to the Protocol Resonance Tower in Arknights Endfield

The goal of the Valley Reboot quest is to get power flowing from the PAC to the distant Protocol Resonance Tower. You’ll do this by building and connecting three Relay Towers between the two, creating a pathway for the power to travel.

Begin by putting your first Relay Tower close to the PAC building. A holographic image will guide you to the exact spot. Then, complete the quick tutorial. Activate AIC Mode – you’ll find the button in the top left corner of your screen. Move the Relay Tower from your backpack to your quick access bar, and drag it onto the field. Fine-tune its position so it lines up with the hologram, and then place it down.

After that, return to the PAC and choose “Start Transmission.” Then, go to the Relay Tower and select “Plug Transmission Cable” to connect it to the PAC.

Keep building Relay Towers by following the markers you see on screen. Each time, choose a Relay Tower from your hotbar, place it on the hologram, and then connect it to the last tower using a Transmission Cable.

Once the final Relay Tower is installed, interact with the Resonance Tower and choose “Plug Transmission Cable.” Then, teleport back to the PAC to finish the Valley Reboot quest.

Double-check that all Relay Towers are connected to the PAC. If they aren’t, the Resonance Tower won’t let you continue the quest.
