How Many Expansion Tickets Can You Get, & When?

To collect all 7 Hobby Expansion Tickets in Heartopia, you’ll need to increase your Developer’s Guild Member Level. You’ll receive a ticket as a reward each time you reach a new D.G. Membership level.

To get tickets for the Hobby Expansion, you’ll need to increase your Developer’s Guild Member Level. This means completing daily Resident Requests to earn Contribution Medals. You’ll receive five requests each day, and it will take several days to collect enough medals. Be sure to complete them daily, though, because they disappear when the Heartopia servers reset each day.

To unlock each hobby, you must also follow the game’s story and complete its introductory quests. Even if you have the Hobby Expansion Ticket, you won’t be able to start a hobby until you finish its first quest.

What Hobbies Should You Unlock First?

Once you increase your Developer’s Guild Member Level and get a Hobby Expansion ticket, you’ll start a new quest that helps you learn how to use the new hobbies.

Finish this tutorial quest, then talk to the mentor you want to learn from. They’ll have a new conversation option where you can learn about their hobby. Choose that option and give them your Hobby Expansion Ticket to unlock it.

You’ll receive your first ticket at Developer’s Guild Member Level 2, and you have to give it to Vanya so you can learn how to Fish. The second ticket also has a specific use: you must give it to Blanc to unlock the Gardening hobby.

Your third, fourth, and fifth Hobby Expansion Tickets are different from the first two. With these, you can choose between Bird Watching, Catching Insects, and Cooking. The hobbies you select won’t significantly change the story, so pick whatever sounds most fun to you.

You’ll get your last two Hobby Expansion Tickets at the same time, which means you’ll unlock the Cat Caring and Dog Caring hobbies on the same day. Once you’ve unlocked those hobbies, you won’t receive any more Hobby Expansion Tickets from improving your Developer’s Guild.
