How to Find Starfall Shards in Heartopia
Starfall Shards are pieces of meteors that fall to earth and can only be found on Onsen Mountain when there’s a Meteor Shower. They don’t appear anywhere in Heartopia on regular days, so you need to collect them during the shower!
Want to find out about upcoming meteor showers? Simply open the weather app on your smartwatch. If you see a moon with stars around it, a meteor shower is happening that night!
Once the meteor shower starts, you’ll find Starfall Shard nodes scattered around Onsen Mountain. Keep in mind that these nodes only appear once per event – there are nine total, and they won’t reappear. Here are some places to search for them in Heartopia.
| Northeast Beach | Travel to the northwest side of Onsen Mountain and follow the shoreline closely. |

| Ruins Area | Inside the Ruins on Onsen Mountain, head toward the capybara feeding trough. |
| South of Onsen Mountain Lake | Make your way to Crater Lake and carefully climb down the cliffs just south of the water. |
| Southwest Corner Path | Follow the path to Lot Five, far away from the mountain resort area. |
| South of the Old Sea Islet | Walk along the shoreline south of the Old Sea Islet. |
| Central Mountain Cliffs | Near the center of Onsen Mountain, look up toward the cliffs that overlook the hot springs. |
| Southeast Path Fork | In the southeast portion of the mountain, locate the fork in the path near the lake. |
| Eastern Hills | Head to Lot Eight in the eastern hills and climb the surrounding cliffs. |
| Stone Cliff Shoreline Path | Follow the eastern shoreline road along the Stone Cliff area. |
When you mine a Starfall Shard node, you’ll receive between three and four shards of a specific color. These shards come in several colors – white, red, yellow, green, blue, and purple – but you won’t find all of them in every Meteor Shower.
During Meteor Showers, Rainbows, and Rain, a special vendor named Doris appears, and you can use Starfall Shards to purchase unique items from her.
