This would keep the feature interactive without making players wait through lengthy animations. Another idea is to increase the cost of items, making mining feel more worthwhile and motivating players to actively seek out better equipment instead of simply finding it in chests.

The game’s large maps could easily support bigger matches, like 5v5 or even larger, which would encourage more teamwork and make skillful plays even more spectacular. This would also make the game similar to most other popular esports titles, which have found that 10-player matches offer the best balance and excitement.

Good communication is key in online games. If you’re not playing with friends who use voice chat, you can’t always count on your teammates to talk or work together to win.
As a Highguard player, I’m really hoping they add text chat! They already have voice chat, which is great, but not everyone likes using a mic. Being able to quickly type messages to my teammates would be awesome, especially in ranked matches where good communication can really make a difference. It would just make coordinating strategies so much easier for those of us who prefer to stay quiet!
Bigger Incentives To Loot

The way players collect gear in Highguard is currently too simple. Players quickly get their starting equipment, find a few chests, and then there’s not much incentive to improve their gear until the next round begins.
It would be great if the crates offered more useful items instead of just different versions of the same thing. The developers could also make looting more exciting by adding items of varying rarity, similar to what they do in Apex Legends. Right now, it often feels easier and more worthwhile to just buy equipment at the base, and better crate drops would make exploring and finding loot more rewarding.

The current game mode in Highguard is quite different from most others. It’s built around capturing an objective, then either attacking or defending it, which creates exciting strategic possibilities and really encourages players to work together.
Sometimes the lulls between intense firefights feel too long, particularly when both teams are equally skilled and keep trading wins. A potential solution would be to eliminate the initial free-for-all phase and make the entire game a quick, back-and-forth bomb planting mode, avoiding those frustrating stops and starts.
Weapon Stats

Highguard offers a good variety of weapons right from the beginning. Players can choose between fast-paced, close-range weapons like SMGs or long-range sniper rifles, letting them experiment with different ways to play.
Honestly, as I get better gear, it’s kinda frustrating. The game mostly tells me things are better with these tiny little tooltips – like, ‘reload 2% faster.’ It doesn’t really feel impactful when I find something like that. I think it’d be way better if weapons actually showed numbers for things like damage, fire rate, and how well they pierce armor. Then I could really figure out what’s best for my build and make smarter choices about my loadout, and that would add a cool level of depth for players who like to min-max.
