In Arknights: Endfield, Oroberyl is the main currency used to obtain new characters through Banners. While you can earn it just by playing, some methods are more efficient than others. This guide details all the ways to get Oroberyl for free, helping you maximize your chances of getting the characters you want.

There are many ways to earn Oroberyl, but the most reliable free methods include completing daily tasks, participating in the Weekly Routine and special events, leveling up your Protocol Pass (battle pass), and regularly redeeming new codes.
Keep opening chests and doing optional tasks you find – they’re still a good way to get Oroberyl. However, these methods have a limit each update, as there’s only a certain number of chests and tasks available. For a more consistent income of Oroberyl, focus on regularly updated activities like daily challenges and the battle pass, which are refreshed with each update.
What is Oroberyl Used For in Arknights Endfield?
In Arknights: Endfield, Oroberyl is exclusively used within the Headhunting system to recruit new Operators. It doesn’t have any other purpose in the game.
In Arknights: Endfield, recruiting new characters is called Headhunting. Each attempt on either the limited or standard Headhunting banner costs 500 Oroberyl, or 5,000 Oroberyl for ten attempts (a ’10-pull’). If you don’t have enough Permits to cover a pull, the game will automatically use your Oroberyl instead, so you don’t need to manually convert them.
Since regular Permits and Oroberyl don’t expire, it’s best to use any temporary Permits you have during the current event before using your regular ones or converting Oroberyl into pulls. Why not try your luck with free, temporary Permits on the featured character first?
