Kill the Crows now available for Nintendo Switch

As a seasoned gamer with decades of gaming under my belt, I can confidently say that Kill the Crows is a refreshing addition to the Wild West genre. Having played numerous games across various platforms, I must admit that the Nintendo Switch version has truly stood out.

5minlab Developer, a subsidiary of Krafton, recently debuted “Kill the Crows” on the Nintendo Switch. The game initially launched on PC last year, as announced during the August 2021 Nintendo Direct. The PC version was released in August of the same year and enjoys “very positive” reviews on Steam.

In the Switch edition, there’s an additional feature called the “Curse” level of difficulty. 5minlab describes this as a system designed for players seeking an extra degree of challenge in Kill the Crows. With the Curse activated, players encounter more demanding challenges, such as enhanced enemy attacks reminiscent of a “bullet hell” pattern or screen areas obscured by thick, black fog at the edges.

Additionally, the Joy-Con vibration features provide a realistic sensation of firing a gun’s trigger, and improvements have been made to the aiming system for more effortless targeting on handheld devices, along with a readjustment in difficulty levels. This is according to the game development team.

Ever since its debut on Steam in August 2023, Kill the Crows has garnered acclaim for its thrilling action and distinctive playstyle. The accolades led developer 5minlab to create and unveil an upgraded Nintendo Switch version, approximately a year following the initial launch.
