It doesn’t happen very often, but when it does, a bunch of cool stuff unlocks – new activities, materials I can collect, and even some achievements to go for. It’s definitely worth keeping an eye out for!

The Meteor Shower event doesn’t last long, so it’s important to participate while you can. Here’s a guide to help you get the most out of it in Heartopia.

How to Tell When a Meteor Shower Is Happening in Heartopia

To find out if a Meteor Shower is happening in Heartopia, simply look at your smart watch. If you see a moon icon surrounded by stars, a shower is currently active. Otherwise, you can check the weekly weather forecast to see when the next one will occur.

You’ll also be able to see the specific start time when a meteor shower is listed. Based on our observations, most meteor showers last around six hours.

How to Get Starfall Shards in Heartopia

Starfall Shards are rare materials that only become available when there’s a Meteor Shower. Players in Heartopia can obtain these shards by mining special nodes located on Onsen Mountain. There are nine of these nodes in total, and they all appear in that one area.

Okay, so the biggest challenge is these things move around! You really have to explore and keep your eyes peeled. Luckily, they’re pretty easy to find once you’re looking – they don’t look like the regular mining spots and have a distinct color, so they stand out.

Starfall Shards come in various colors, but each color doesn’t show up with every meteor shower.

Where to Find Doris in Heartopia

You might have heard about Doris, a special shopkeeper in Heartopia. She’s a bit mysterious and doesn’t stay put! You can only find her when the weather is unique – like during rain, meteor showers, or when a rainbow appears.

During a Meteor Shower, you can typically find Doris close to the large umbrella at the Onsen Mountain bus stop. She offers special, event-only items for purchase.

How to Get the Stardust Collector & Beneath the Meteor Shower Achievements in Heartopia

While watching a meteor shower in Heartopia, you can unlock special achievements. To get the “For Beneath the Meteor Shower” achievement, you need to purchase an item from Doris during the meteor shower, then perform it with a friend to unlock it.

To get the Stardust Collector achievement, simply gather 60 Starfall Shards—any color will do—during the event.
