Cloud9 Valorant Manager Talks Competition After Team Wins Red Bull Home Ground North American Qualifier

As a seasoned gamer with years of experience under my belt, I can confidently say that the victory of Cloud9’s Valorant team at the Red Bull Home Ground North American Qualifier was nothing short of electrifying! Having followed their journey since the early days, it’s heartening to see them climb the ranks and secure a spot in the Finals.

Last week was a momentous one for Cloud9’s Valorant team, as they emerged victorious from the Red Bull Home Ground North American Qualifier, securing the top spot. With Sentinels ending up in second place, Cloud9 now earns a ticket to the Red Bull Home Ground Finals, which are scheduled for late November.

In a special chat with TopMob, Cloud9’s North American Valorant Team Manager, Johnny Pulatie, shared his perspective upon leaving the competition.

Cloud9 Valorant Team Manager Discusses Competition After Team Qualifies to Berlin

After wrapping up the North American qualifiers and gearing up for the Finals in Berlin, Johnny Pulatie offered some valuable insights following the competition.

In a special interview, Pulatie expressed that Red Bull Home Ground holds significant value for Cloud9, as we aim to preserve our illustrious legacy by participating in and ultimately triumphing at the North American Qualifier. To accomplish this goal, it was essential that we assemble a top-tier team.

The team was simultaneously getting ready for the event and recruiting some substitutes who hadn’t trained with them prior to the tournament kickoff in Seattle.

Our main focus was to gather together as a group to discuss our strategy for the upcoming event and ensure everyone felt at ease. By creating a relaxed atmosphere, we believed that we could easily tap into the ‘flow state,’ which in turn would allow us to outperform any competing team.

The team’s ease was evident in their competitive spirit throughout the qualifier, following their 2-0 victory against Team Sentinels in the finals with Cloud9.

Pulatie Discusses Grand Finals in Berlin and How the Team is Preparing

Now, our team is gearing up for a significant test, since they are set to journey to Berlin this November for the Red Bull Home Ground Finals. Following their participation in the Japan Finals last year, Cloud9 is eager to maintain its status as one of the top-tier Valorant teams.

Pulatie stated that the team is currently undergoing an intensive training program, or “boot camp,” at the T1 facility in Seoul, South Korea. This is being done to ensure strong team dynamics, culture, cooperation, and comfort level from the get-go, allowing us to start performing effectively immediately.

Here’s a more conversational rewording: The event is happening between November 20 and 23, 2024, offering fans an exciting lineup as Valorant Competitive Tournament (VCT) is currently on its break. Interestingly, Cloud9’s North American Valorant team will participate in the 20254 Sentinels City Classic, which is scheduled for early November in Los Angeles, California.
