We’re starting to hear details about WWE 2K26, and a major new feature is the Ringside Pass. This changes how downloadable content will be released and offered to players.
WWE 2K26 is coming out on March 13th, and details are starting to emerge about the game before the 2026 Royal Rumble. According to a recent article on SI.com’s Takedown section, downloadable content for WWE 2K26 will be available through a “Ringside Pass.”
The Ringside Pass is a new way to earn rewards as you play, much like battle passes in other games. You’ll get experience points just by playing any of the offline modes. The pass has 60 free levels and 40 premium levels to unlock. If you reach level 40 of the premium pass, you’ll get access to new Superstars, outfits, customization options, and special content for modes like The Island, plus other exciting rewards.
More Superstars Than Ever Before Will Be Playable in WWE 2K26
WWE 2K26 is set to have a massive roster of over 400 playable characters, making it the biggest in the game series’ history. The game will feature today’s top stars like CM Punk and Cody Rhodes alongside legendary figures such as Andre the Giant and Bret Hart. Plus, players can look forward to new additions to the roster, including Rey Fenix and Blake Monroe.
The King of Kings deluxe edition of the game will come with the standard game, the Joe Hendry Pack, Seasons 1 and 32 of the Ringside Pass Premium, and 32,500 VC, along with other extras. If you choose the Attitude Era Edition, you’ll get access to Seasons 1 through 4 of the Ringside Pass Premium, and you’ll also be able to play as iconic Attitude Era characters like Chyna ’97.
The most deluxe version of the game, called the Monday Night War Edition, comes with six seasons of the Ringside Pass, letting you play as wrestling icons like Shawn Michaels and Randy Savage. It also features a virtual arena based on the WCW Thunder show from 1998.
